The end of a relationship in 1998 led Coach Michelle looking for a new hobby to keep herself occupied. A good friend told her about BJJ and it was more than she ever imagined finding. Her passion for BJJ never wavered and she became the 13th American female to achieve the rank of black belt. The mental and physical challenge BJJ provides keeps her grounded and humble.

Coach Michelle assists with many of the classes and her knowledge and humor enhance every class she’s a part of.

Starting April 2024, Coach Michelle and her husband Chad, are embarking on a year long adventure across the U.S. While we already miss her so much, we’re excited to follow her journey on Facebook and YouTube.
