Arm-Jitsu Academy

Table top Jiu-Jitsu for everyone!

What is Arm-Jitsu?

Professor Foster and many others became interested in the sport of Arm Wrestling during the pandemic through seeing videos of infamous Arm Wrestling legend Devon “No Limits” Larratt, who often refers to the sport as a “miniature martial art.” Professor Foster was intrigued by the countless parallels between Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/Arm Wrestling and has been addicted ever since!

During that time he became friends with Devon through messaging on social media. He vowed to have Devon out for a joint Arm Wrestling and BJJ seminar weekend once things improved, that event took place August 27-28, 2022. It was an incredible success with over 100 participants, reinvigorating passions for the sport while introducing many to it for the first time. The seeds of the Arm-Jitsu Academy were planted that day through the connections which were made and the mutual passion for the sport.

The Pacific Northwest is no stranger to the sport of Arm Wrestling and is the home of another legend in Jacob Abbott. He holds practice weekly at Team StrongArms and is highly regarded by all. It’s often said if you Arm Wrestle in the state of Washington your part of StrongArms, regardless of club affiliation. Unfortunately distance makes it difficult for some to consistently train there, however this group helped in connections being made and the Arm-Jitsu academy was born.

We’re a technique focused group of amateur and pro arm wrestlers, looking to perfect our art form on the table, while offering a friendly community experience and positive atmosphere.
